KOHAKU

It is one of the first Koi varieties developed and one of the most popular ones.

SHOWA

It is one of the most popular Koi varieties. It has a black body with red and white markings.

KUMONRYU

Nickname “The Killer Whale”. It will change its pattern throughout its lifetime.

SHUSUI

It has no scales except for a single line of scales extending from head to tail.

BENI KIKOKURYU

Also known as “Dragon Koi”. It is one of my favourite Koi varieties and can change its pattern completely over a few months.

OCHIBA

Translated from Japan as “Autumn Leave”. It is a fairly new variety and was created in the mid 90’s.

GOSHIKI

Means “Five Colours” in Japan namely, white, black, red, light blue and dark blue.

MIDORIGOI

A single non-metallic green Koi. A rare variety.

GOLDEN CORN

The newest Koi variety. It is definitely a “must have” for any pond!

They are calm, with a peaceful temperament. A high quality Ki Utsuri is one of the most difficult varieties to obtain.

A Black Koi with Ginrin. Ginrin is the glitter on the scales. A rare variety.
